Macedonian Diaspora in Australia – significantly contributes  in strengthening relations between Australia and Macedonia

The question of social security and the necessity of signing the agreement on its implementation between Macedonia and Australia was raised long ago by the former president of ZK VMRO-Donco Angeloski. On this issue the members of ZK VMRO-Melbourne (Natasha Jankovska, Miki Dodevski Gordana Dimovska) consistently worked to point out the tremendous need of the Macedonian people in Australia to gain the right to transfer their pensions acquired in Australia. Letters were sent to the competent institutions in Australia and the Macedonian government, in order to come to its implementation and facilitate the process of transfer of pensions of any kind. Macedonian people from Australia embrace the news of signing  the agreement with great joy and express our tremendous gratitude to Macedonian  Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, who has pledged to resolve this vital issue and make a step forward in establishing closer relations with Australia. During his visit to Australia he gave an interview to Radio SBS, which among others expressed gratitude for initiating this important issue by Donco Angeloski, and the  rest of the members in Macedonian community in Australia who contributed  in their own way in strengthening the Australian-Macedonian relations.
